Oh America!
Just look what we've become! It's such a sad state of affairs these days, and I can only imagine it getting worse, that is, the rich getting richer and the rest of us feeling even more insecure about the burgeoning wealth of the the uber-rich.

I have little desire to be rich, and I have no patience for those who expound endlessly about their wealth.
I'm with Cronin. NOw that I feel fairly comfortable about my money situation I am seeking out more compelling forms of satisfaction like writing or photography. I've gotten to the point where I have most of what I need and can afford to go out and get what I need if I don't have it. The problem lies in spending as a form of entertainment.
